Export Ghana – Cargo Tracking Note – UPDATE

As per Bill of Lading date September, 1st 2018 Ghana Revenue  Authority (GRA) requires a Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) for all cargoes to be imported into Ghana.
ATTENTION! This rule has been postponed to start on October, 15th 2018!

The CTN needs to be issued prior to shipping. We understand that a CTN is required for each HBL and must be issued at the port of loading (country of origin). SACO can not issue the CTN for any transshipment cargo.

When SACO is instructed to arrange the CTN, please provide us with the following documents prior to cut off:

- Export Customs Declaration
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing list
- Bill of Lading
- Freight invoice
- Contact details of cnee (phone and email address)

No loading without required Documents/CTN. Fines may occur if any incorrect document/information has been submitted.

More information can be found at www.ctnghana.com
