EU Emission Trading System Surcharge (EU ETS)
Dear valued customer,
In the light of recently released key informationon the EU ETS agreement following with the requirements for shipping lines to report their emissions and purchase an equivalent amount of allowances on the EU ETS market starting
January 1st, 2024, we will be introducing a surcharge to cover the expense of compliance.
All trades inbound and outbound:
EU ETS Surcharge: USD/EUR 2,00 wm
EU ETS is collected with the Oceanfreight and other surcharges (as applicable), currency aligned.
Effective date: 01.01.2024.
