LCL Import – Update storage charges
Dear valued customer,
considering the increasing disparity in arriving import volumes and the somewhat sluggish pickup of import merchandises which by now have led to dramatic shortages in warehouse capacities, We do not see any alternative but to adjust the storage charges on inbound cargoes as stipulated hereafter.
effective December 01st 2022 the following storage rates will apply
rates applicable per day and ton once agreed storage free period has elapsed
Day 1-4
merchandises max. 5 times measuring Euro 3,80 per day and ton
merchandises exceeding 5 times measuring Euro 5,20 per day and ton
Day 5 and subsequent days
merchandises max. 5 times measuring Euro 15,20 per day and ton
merchandises exceeding 5 times measuring Euro 20,80 per day and ton
we instantly hope this considerable increase in storage charges will help to see a more consistent pick up of import shipments, badly needed to unclog the cfs while creating fresh capacities to process further incoming volumes in a more timely manner and to provide you with our proverbial reliable service again.
Foresaid action is being introduced at all our German terminals as a preliminary measure only and may be adjusted at any time.
