Export LCL Libya - Electronic Cargo Tracking Note
Dear valued Customer,
with immediate effect the Libyan Customs Authorities and the Libyan Ministry of Finance require an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) for all cargoes imported into Libya.
The ECTN needs to be issued prior to shipping. An ECTN is required for each HBL and must be issued at the port of loading (country of origin).
If you want SACO to arrange the ECTN please provide the following documents prior cut off:
- Export Customs Declaration
- Commercial invoice (charges detailed as per INCOTERM)
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of origin
- Importer’s and exporter’s email address
- Statistical code of the importer
Any incorrect documents/information may result in fines.
