Export LCL South Africa Manifest Admin Fee
We refer to previous communications regarding South Africa‘s implementation of the Customs Control Act, 2014. South Africa Revenue Services (SARS) introduced a 24-Hour Advanced Load Manifest rule in August 2018.
We are required to submit our MBL to the shipping line and Manifests to South Africa, 24 hours before loading onto the vessel at the port of loading.
In order to guarantee the service level you are used to, we will implement an administration fee called Manifest Admin Fee of EUR 12,50 per House B/L for all cargoes exported to South Africa, effective as of November, 1st 2018. The fee will be part of our FOB charges and can be found in our recent Export tariff.
