Export Ghana – Cargo Tracking Note

As per Bill of Lading date July, 1st 2018 Ghana Revenue  Authority (GRA) requires a Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) for all cargoes to be imported into Ghana.

However the Authorities confirmed to give a grace period until August, 31st 2018 allowing the loading without a CTN. As of September, 1st 2018 a CTN is a must.

The CTN needs to be issued prior to shipping. We understand that a CTN can be issued for the whole groupage container. In order to include your shipments data it is mandatory to submit the following documents to SACO prior to cut off:

- Commercial Invoice

- Export Custom Declaration

- Bill of Lading

Fines may occur if any incorrect document/information has been submitted.

More information can be found at www.ctnghana.com
