Export South Africa - Advance Load House
South African Revenue Services (SARS) has embarked on meeting the required standards, as set out by the World Customs Organisation.
SARS has advised that the pilot phase will take effect from the 1st of June 2018 and this system will be referred to as the Reporting of Conveyances and Goods (RCG).
One of the key reporting areas of RCG, is the Advance Load Master (ALM) and Advance Load House (ALH). This reporting system is very similar to the 24 Hour Automated Manifest System that currently is in place for USA, Canada, Japan and EU for any incoming cargo.
In order to guarantee the smooth running of the process, our South African partner will already start submission of the required information to SARS as of May, 1st.
