Export and Import South Africa - Civil unrest

Dear valued Customer,

Unrests in South Africa followed the jailing of former president Jacob Zuma last week.
The provinces KwaZulu Natal and Gauteng are mostly affected.
The Durban port is largely non operational due to severe labour shortages and shipping line depots and transport companies in Durban are also closed.
There is also some level of civil unrest in Johannnesburg and this has affected transport companies and carrier
depots.

As a precautionary meassure, the office of our partner (CFR Freight) and the ZacPak warehouse in Durban remain closed.
Whilst all other facilities in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg are operating normally, please be informed that no cargo collections or deliveries will take place in Durban at Zacpak, including inter depot movements
to and from Durban and Johannesburg. Delays are to be expected.

Possible schedule changes from carriers will be adapted as soon as possible.

For further information please contact your local SACO Shipping Team.
